Lately there have been some cases in the media where rich Americans payed big money abroad to hunt, shoot and pose next animals such as lions or giraffes etc (and then take parts of said animal home as a trophy). Said hunters then got given a lot of grief online (sometimes quite extreme retribution over their hunts like death threats etc) by people saying that it is wrong for them to hunt animals for sport. And even within America (and many other countries) it is totally legal to hunt & shoot a wide variety of animals for sport (and some people turn hunting certain animals into big hobby of theirs that they spend lots of money & time etc on).
But regardless of whether its Americans, Russians, Brits or Australians etc hunting animals for sport (and regardless of whether its at home or abroad), what is your take on the whole hunting situation?
For example some people are fine with hunting as long as the animal/s in question is not endangered or threatened with being endangered. Others only support hunting as a means to cull animals (rather than to be practiced as a sport). And other people are against hunting entirely. And some people, are not wholeheartedly in support of it but see ways it can have some benefits (and are neither really for or against in their support of hunting). Some people argue that hunting an animal for food is better than buying meat from a supermarket while others argue that if people can buy food then they shouldn't be killing animals to eat etc.
The list goes on!
(So whats your take on it all?)
