Lead, 4 cm's , Latin text 'da pacem den in diebus nost' (can be roughly translated as 'Peace in our time') Find context with late 16th century pottery. In this period English mercenaries are known to have been active in this region. Could this badge have a military connection, a cap badge for instance.? A trawl through the literature I have available came up empty...
