Hi there!
A little bit about me;
1. 29 years old, female. 2. Have been interested in archaeology/paleontology since about the age of 5 (I grew up on a farm in Wiltshire full of the stuff and so quickly developed an interest in it). 3. I hope this forum can be a success! 4. Other interests/hobbies of mine include fish keeping, art, jewelry making, gardening & wildlife conservation, listening to a diverse array of music, exploring/traveling, debates/hot topics and philosophy, paleontology/fossils & more. 5. Would describe myself as being quite extrovert in personality. 6. I have a terrible sense of humor and couldn't dance nor sing to save my life lol.

Hi there,
A little about myself.
I came here to:
1. Learn about Archaeology and specifically about Zoroastrian Parsi-Iranian history. 2. I have a board too so wanted to learn from someone else. 3. I like to have meaningful discussions online.
What do you mean that you have a terrible sense of humour?

Hi and welcome to the forum Shiraz! What do you mean that you have a terrible sense of humour?Ah some of my friends call me the "Queen of bad jokes" as I love to hear and tell bad jokes i.e. ones which most people don't find funny but I do (although sometimes the funniest thing about telling a bad joke is seeing the persons awkward expression after I tell them the joke). For example what do you call an exploding primate? A Ba-BOOM! (Get it ? Haha ^^; ...) What is your forum about Shiraz ?

Hi there I'm 16, I am one of several interests, archeology is quite fascinating to me. I am not the most knowledgeable on the subject, I'm here mostly to learn about it really. Other interests of mine include football (or soccer, as some call it), astrology, animation, paleontology. I love to talk to anyone who can keep a good conversation, having someone to talk to always makes things more interesting to me.

Hi there Theropod! Apologies for the late reply, I've had a very busy weekend! I too am very interested in paleontology as well. When it comes to animation, what are your interests in it ? Archaeology is always a subject of learning (you never stop learning in it and it is one of the fastest progressing sciences there is !).

No problem, we all have commitments! I animate with a free program called Pivot, it is a rather simple 2D program, originally meant for stickfigure animation, but I made it more complex thanks to my interest in paleontology, I even have a forum related to it. And you're right on that one, can't disagree
